Morehead City, NC (Alt)
Alternate customized driving directions to Morehead City, NC. This is not normally my preferred route, but it is a viable alternative. The difference from my preferred route begins in Deleware. At that point, I follow Route 1 until it connects to U. S. Route 13, which continues south until U. S. Route 17 in North Carolina. That eventually connects to U. S. Route 70 which goes direct to Morehead City, NC. Note that this route is a shorter distance than my preferred route by about 50 miles, but takes longer to travel (about 50 minutes longer, on average).

As I mentioned on the main "preferred" route, I have found that this information can be downloaded into Google Earth, but it does not retain all of the directions after the customized destinations. For example, it will stop the directions at my custom destination in Washinton, DC. To get the full set of directions requires pulling in each segment and showing them all in Google Earth. The online version, therefore, is a bit more versatile until they can fix the bug.
