Customized driving directions to Morehead City, NC. This includes my preferences for going straight through New York City, going on the east side of the Capital Beltway, taking I-295 South near Richmond, and exiting I-95 South at NC 125. It takes me through the towns of Scotland Neck,NC and Williamston, NC. I have found this route faster than those the automatic trip makers generate because the mileage is shorter and there is virtually no traffic.

I have found that this information can be downloaded into Google Earth, but it does not retain all of the directions after the customized destinations. For example, it will stop the directions at my custom destination in Washinton, DC. To get the full set of directions requires pulling in each segment and showing them all in Google Earth. The online version, therefore, is a bit more versatile until they can fix the bug.
